Joined Retreat of the Mandel Groups in Würzburg

The two Mandel Groups (The Supraparticle Group at FAU and the Particle technology group at Fraunhofer ISC) came together this week for a joined retreat in Würzburg.

A tight shedule was completed, including guided tours through the Fraunhofer ISC and its new buildings in Würzburg, some PhD topic pitches, a short workshop and of course a mandatory visit of a local “Biergarten”.

Last but not least, the group went canoeing on the Main and the group spirit was tested with heavy rain. Still mostly smiles… great group spirit proven! 😉
