Paper published in Nature Nanotechnoloy

Our joint publication together with our colleagues from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, USA is out! The study titled “Magnetoelectric nanodiscs enable wireless transgene-free neuromodulation” was published on 11th of October, 2024 in Nature Nanotechnology.

The scientific team arond Polina Anikeeva and Danijela Gregurec developed novel magnetoelectric nanodiscs consisting of a layered magnetostrictive core and a piezoelectric shell, that can translate magnetic forces into electrical signals for stimulation of deep neuronal  brain tissue.
