Sensory Sciences Seminar Prof. Marius Yamakou, A Mechanism of Heterogeneity-Induced Decoherence of Resonance in Neurons
Date: 2. October 2024Time: 13:00 – 14:00Location: Seminar room 00.020, ZMPT/MVC building, Henkestr. 91, 91052 Erlangen
We are excited to announce the seminar by Professor Marius Yamakou<https://www.datascience.nat.fau.eu/research/researchers/marius-yamakou/> from the Department of Data Science at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
His research uses machine learning to develop innovative tools to make sense of and interact with complex dynamical systems. One application for these techniques aims at exploring fundamental principles that drive the computational power of biological neurons and the brain, allowing for the development and optimization of neuroscience-inspired machine learning algorithms and neural computing approaches.
You are invited to his lecture on Wednesday, 02.10.24, 13:00 in the seminar room (00.020) of the ZMPT/MVC building, Henkestr. 91, 91052 Erlangen
