i) PhD position in Atomic Layer Deposition and Electrochemistry

We are looking for an energetic PhD researcher with Master’s thesis or hands-on experience in these areas: Atomic layer deposition, ultrahigh vacuum deposition, electrochemical deposition, or scanning probe techniques.

What do we expect from you?
• A Master’s degree in either chemistry, physics, materials sciences, or related fields
• Conduct independent research, perform materials characterization and develop new technologies and techniques
• Mentor junior researchers, collaborate with other researchers, and work as a team
• Present research findings at conferences and publish peer-reviewed articles
• Involve in laboratory development and management, e.g., maintaining laboratory routine, protocols, safety procedures, equipment and supplies
• Excellent command of English, knowledge of German is an advantage
