Rosa Pujales-Paradela

Dr. Rosa Pujales-Paradela holds a Bachelor degree (BSc.) in chemistry from University of Coruña in Spain, with a bachelor’s thesis in the preparation and characterization of biocompatible magnetic nanoparticles, evaluating their potential use as hyperthermia agents in cancer therapies.

In 2014, she obtained her Master’s degree in material science from the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, where she primarily focused on the optimization of synthetic parameters in the obtaining of magnetic nanocubes.

Afterwards, she completed her PhD studies in the University of Coruña, Spain, on the design of novel contrast agents for their use in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications in 2019. During her doctorate, she was a visiting scientist in Max Planck Institute in Tübingen, Germany, and in Università del Piemonte Orientale in Alessandria, Italy.

In June 2020, she joined the Supraparticle Group as a postdoc researcher, to support the scientific work of the group.
